However, like many other families, my own boys, husband, and I have been doing our best to manage our concerns together. for reasons we all know, but I won't get into here. In terms of why I felt compelled to write this re-imagining of Uriko/Melony’s tale, I noticed with my children, other parents, and the world in general that there is a high degree of anxiety and fear of the outside world.

All children will find something that they can relate to in SEJAL SINHA BATTLES SUPERSTORMS, whether it's characters who look like them, the shared anxiety that accompanies severe weather, imaginative play, and changing friendship dynamics. This book has so much that will intrigue young readers, and also the adults who might be reading along with them (I certainly learned a lot)! Children at this age are often interested in (and somewhat anxious about) natural disasters, and through Sejal's adventures, young readers can learn more about them through a fun and exciting story.
